Highschool Credits

SCIENCES

-Biology

-Chemistry

-Physics

These three classes are a must. The more the merrier though when it comes to science credits. This field is very intensive in various fields of sciences, so the more credits you can earn, the better off you will be in not only highschool, but in college as well.

MATH

-Algebra I and II

-Geometry

-Pre-calculus or calculus

Similarly to the sciences, you can never take too many math classes. The more you take the better prepared you are for the advanced math skills required in your college level sciences. Most schools only require three years of math, but it is in your best interest to take math all four years of your highschool career.

OTHER

- English

- Foreign Language

- Any other medical related classes

English and foreign language are courses that should be taken as well to ensure stable communication between patients and fellow workers. Writing and speaking are a huge part of working in the medical field.

If given the oppertunity to, one should take full advantage of any other classes that could apply to the medical field. These courses are not necessary, but are beneficial.
